Dear Lady Rose

I know, you know

You do rule Flower World

So lovely, fragrant and good

St. Valentine worships you

Still, others shall be assessed

Sunflower, wickedly tall

And death-killing brightness

How I devour your seeds!

Dear Sir Carnation

You’re the clown of Flower Circus

Bursting, Rife with designs

Dainty Sweet Orchid

You may be my China Doll

So fragile, So subtle

Color beckons the tears

Yearning, says heart

Beg to suffer this way, exquisite longing

Spirit is indeed Orchid

Unqualified, Lady Rose
