You will not love her

Beautiful, she is not

Still her eyes take you

She will take you, dragging and kicking

To a roadless land of make-believe

Love her, you will not

Joy is in the resenting

Cunning catalyst to the wrong

She is not beautiful

Cursing her absence

You will not love her

Still, there are damnable dreams

Her form is not pleasing

Her mind circumnavigates all

Her wit is stinging

Still, you will not love her

For she will not love at all
